Frequently Asked Questions

Is CGA like homeschooling?

CGA is an online school offering a complete curriculum. Students learn in small, live classrooms with world-class teachers from the comfort of their own home. Parents or guardians do not need to provide the education when a student enrols with CGA.

We provide both full-time and part-time enrolment options that can be useful for families who are home schooling.

To know more about our flexible enrolment options, speak to an experienced Academic Advisor.

Do you provide students with a Transfer Certificate?

We provide transcripts for students applying for university admission but don't provide TCs to leaving students. A student's record of learning (subject, level and grades) is contained in their school reports.

Read more on our blog.

Is there an online school for primary aged children?

CGA offers classes for students from 12 years of age as part of our Pre-International GCSE curriculum.

Learn more about Pre-IGCSE here.

As we enrol students by ability rather than age, academically advanced 11-year-olds may be considered for the classes.

Students can join our 1:1 Da Vinci programme from as young as 8 up to 18 years of age.

Speak to an Academic Advisor to see if your child is ready to join our school.

What is the class size?

We keep our classes below 15 students but are, on average, between 6 – 8 students to ensure maximum engagement.

How do I apply?

You can apply online. Learn more about our admissions process here or speak to one of our Academic Advisors to get started.
