Built Online From Day One
Crimson Global Academy (CGA) opened in New Zealand in 2020, founded by Dr Jamie Beaton and Penelope Barton. If school didn't need a campus, it could be built around each student instead, wherever they lived and whatever they were working towards.
We teach for the world our students are heading into. That means the grades to open doors, and the confidence to walk through them.

CGA at a Glance
Crimson Global Academy is an accredited online private high school, founded in 2020. It teaches 2,500+ students aged 7 to 18 in 70+ countries, with 200+ teachers. Students follow the British curriculum, with International GCSEs and A Levels, or the American curriculum, with the US Diploma pathway and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Families choose how their child learns, through live group classes, one-to-one teaching, or self-paced study, all on Learning Labs, the platform CGA builds in-house. CGA is a fully online school, with in-person events for students, and has rolling admissions across several school calendars, so students can join at any point in the year.

CGA is accredited by WASC and COBIS, approved to teach by Pearson Edexcel and Cambridge, and authorised by the College Board to offer AP courses. The Crimson Group
CGA and Crimson Education
CGA and Crimson Education are part of the same group, but they do different jobs. CGA is s school, with enrolled students, teachers, assessments, and recognised qualifications. Crimson Education is a university admissions consultancy and doesn't provide schooling.
Your child doesn't need Crimson Education to study at CGA. CGA students receive university counselling as part of their schooling, and Crimson Educations' expertise helps inform that programme.
