CGA's homeschooling options provide families with the structure, flexibility, and teacher support their children need to succeed. With CGA’s internationally recognised curricula, homeschoolers gain access to the quality education and opportunities they need to thrive.

Part-time Primary (Ages 6-12)

1-3 Core Subjects (Maths, English, or Science), or 2-3 full days of online group classes. This is ideal if you are looking to supplement your child's homeschool plan with structured classes and with a registered teacher.

Full-Time Primary (Ages 6-12)

A complete program of 5 subjects taught by registered teachers (Maths, English, Science, World Geography, and Computer Science), coupled with weekly group enrichment classes for socialisation and academic extension.

Part-Time Secondary (Ages 12-18)

Students enrol in 1-3 subjects through either group or private classes, often paired with other homeschooling resources or 2 full days of online group classes. This gives your child access to world-class teachers and a supportive community, all with the flexibility to focus on their interests and passions.

Full-Time Secondary (Ages 12-18)

CGA's complete online school experience. Students can join group or private classes, learn an academically rigorous and internationally recognised curricula, prepare for university admissions, and build connections and friendships in a global community.

How does Home Schooling work in New Zealand?

Homeschooling with Crimson Global Academy provides families with the flexibility and resources to create a personalised education plan for their children.

Young learners in New Zealand can enrol full-time through Crimson Academies or CGA. For these students, joining is seamless—no application for homeschooling is required.

Please note the distinction in our full-time registrations:

  • High School: CGA is registered with the NZ Ministry of Education for full-time enrolments in our high school A Level pathway.
  • Primary School: Full-time primary enrolment (for younger students) is registered with Crimson Academies.

If you choose to educate your child at home outside of our full-time enrolment pathways, you may still be required to obtain approval from your local Ministry of Education office. More information on the process here.
