What is Emi?
Emi is a live, teacher-led New Zealand primary school designed for modern families.
Every class is led by a qualified primary teacher. Your child has one-to-one lessons early in the week and small live group classes at the end of it, so learning is shaped around where they are, not just how old they are.
Emi is powered by Crimson Global Academy.

How the Emi Week Works
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday
Monday to Wednesday one-to-one sessions prepare your child for the Thursday and Friday group lessons, and every teacher works from the same lesson plan.
- Two 45-minute lessons a day with a teacher, about 1.5 hours
- Two lessons each in English, Maths, and Innovation across the three days
- Planned backwards from the week’s group goal, so your child is ready for Thursday
- Enrichment Hour included: English (Mon), Maths (Tue), Science (Wed)
- Lessons are timetabled for the year, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Small Group Learning
Classes capped at 8, so every child is seen and heard, and nobody gets lost in the crowd.
One-to-One Every Week
Two 45-minute lessons in each subject from Monday to Wednesday, planned to prepare for the group days.
Room to Stretch
Teachers adjust work during each lesson, and mixed-year rooms give confident learners next year’s content. Students are grouped by ability rather than strictly by age.
AI That Helps
Winnie, the AI tutor, guides with questions, stays inside the lesson, and teachers see everything it’s asked.
Personalised Pathways
Every lesson has two tracks, and teachers place each child on the one that fits, lesson by lesson.
Social Learning
Children make friends across countries and build confidence through discussion and teamwork.
