Who is the club mentor?

Janice Klock

Janice's transition from the fast-paced world of finance to the educational sphere has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to CGA students. Her dedication to mentoring, rooted in over a decade of guiding high school students in banking, finance, and economics, has made her an ideal leader for the Startup Founders Club.

Janice enjoys mentoring high school students and has been tutoring secondary and junior college Maths since 2011. With a background in finance and capital markets, she is popular with students seeking to pursue a similar career path.

Club Highlights and Schedule

The club meets monthly, offering a blend of coaching sessions, collaborative projects, and pitch practice. In addition to the regular meetings, students engage in "Crimson Combinator Pitch Day," a culminating event where they present their startups, mirroring the experience of pitching to angel investors and venture capitalists.

Meetings are held on Saturdays at 8pm Eastern Standard Time, accommodating students from various time zones and ensuring a global perspective is woven into every discussion.
