Mathematics is the stepping stone for developing our depth of thinking and our perspective on how we take a variety of approaches to problem-solving.

What is International GCSE Mathematics?

International GCSE Mathematics is a core subject of the International GCSE curriculum. The subject is generally a requirement together with other International GCSEs subjects, in fact, it may be supplemented by ‘International GCSE Further Pure Mathematics’ which takes the stride towards studying A-level specification topics. Hence this subject is something to look forward to as it can take you very far!

The Edexcel International GCSE Mathematics is where this journey starts, you have Mathematics A which is further divided into two paths, “Foundation tier” and “Higher tier”. You also have Mathematics B which differs in the depth of questions. The latter is the one taken by those aiming for the top grades, and ultimately the top universities of the world.
