課程概述

IAL經濟學課程包括兩個IAS 單元（單元1和單元2）和兩個IA2單元（單元3和單元4 ），AS Level資格可作為獨立的資格授予，也可在IAL資格考核中佔50%分數。

學生將研究運作中的市場運轉、總體經濟表現和政策、商業行為和全球經濟的發展。

Mathematics Overview

考試方式

培生愛德思IAL經濟學課程由四個外部考試單元組成，包括2個IAS單元（單元1和單元2）和2個IA2單元（單元3 和單元4）組成。

考試時間

AS Level：總共 2 個單元，每個單元皆為1小時45分鐘 A Level：總共4個單元，2個單元：每個單元1小時 45 分鐘，其餘2個單元：每個單元 2小時

成績構成要素

AS Level：2 個單元，每個80 分 A Level：4 個單元，每個80 分

考試形式

每年為4個單元中的每個單元提供3次外部評估。

Progression

  • Higher-education courses such as an economics degree with a focus on theory, or a degree in applied economics, such as environmental economics, labour economics, public sector economics or monetary economics. Alternatively, students may choose to go on to study a business economics, mathematical economics or business degree
  • A wide range of careers ranging from finance, banking, insurance, accountancy, management and consultancy to becoming professional economists.

Recommended Prerequisites

Students who would benefit most from studying these qualifications are likely to have a qualification in a numerate subject such as an International GCSE in Mathematics.
