Championing Creativity: CGA’s Creative Arts Magazine

A passion for creativity has proudly taken centre stage at Crimson Global Academy (CGA) with the release of the very first edition of the Creative Arts Magazine. This inspiring student arts magazine reflects the vibrant spirit of creative school clubs at CGA. This student-led art initiative, spearheaded by students Shaoey and Leela, highlights the value of creative expression in school and showcases the power of creativity in online learning.

Motivated by a desire to uplift the artistic voices within the CGA community, the duo recognised an opportunity to shine a spotlight on creative talent. “Academics are commonly celebrated in school, and we believed arts and creativity deserved equal appreciation,” they shared. “We wanted to show that the arts are just as valued as academic achievement.”

The idea blossomed from a shared love for writing and visual art, and their mission was clear: to create a culture where creativity could thrive. A magazine felt like the perfect format: simple, engaging, and capable of bringing together diverse creative expressions from students around the globe.

The inaugural issue features a vibrant collection of student-submitted photography, creative writing, visual arts, and digital illustrations, many of which stem from student club activities such as the art and writing club online and other digital art student projects. Each featured piece is accompanied by a personal reflection, giving readers a window into the artist’s inspiration and creative process. “We hope this inspires more students to create and share their work,” the pair said.

This project not only celebrates artistic achievements but also shows what to expect in online high school when it comes to creative outlets. It also fosters student social life in online learning, strengthening the online school community and encouraging online student friendship.

Supporting Student Creativity Beyond the Classroom

At CGA, we believe that education goes beyond academics. That’s why we proudly support students in exploring their passions, whether in arts, sports, leadership, or STEM, through a wide range of online extracurricular activities and student-led clubs.

Student-Led Clubs

Our student-led clubs are a dynamic platform for learners to collaborate globally on subjects that spark their curiosity and passion. These clubs give students opportunities to form friendships and discover how to make friends in online school through shared interests. Students have the freedom to join or even propose and form new clubs, making their CGA experience uniquely tailored to their goals and passions.

Currently, CGA offers a variety of arts-focused clubs such as:

  • Art Club
  • Photography Club
  • Creative Writing Club
  • Film Club
  • Glee Club
  • Fashion Club

These clubs champion creativity in online school and provide a home for creative expression in school environments that are traditionally academic. Whether you're interested in launching digital art student projects or diving into creative writing, CGA’s extracurricular programmes have something to offer.

In addition to the arts, CGA hosts clubs focused on STEM, public speaking, career preparation, and community building, further enriching the student experience. These clubs aren’t just fun; they’re meaningful, guided by expert teachers who mentor students and support their personal growth.
