The International GCSEs are the most commonly studied curriculum around the world. They are based on the UK high school education system and are adapted for a global student base.

Basis of what you will learn in iGCSE English Language
Study on this course centres on an Edexcel anthology featuring a varied selection of short non-fiction and fiction texts. The material covers themes such as climate change, discrimination, travel and adventure, family relationships and the experience of refugees. Students explore and analyse the structure and language of the texts in this collection and other pieces selected from a range of sources to extend and develop their ideas and experience of different genres. There is also a substantial creative component to this course in which students use their knowledge about the ways in which professional writers' convey meaning to create their own texts.
