Your Path to CGA

Here’s how admissions works at CGA, from your first enquiry to your child’s first class.

01 / 06
Step 1

Meet a CGA Admissions Officer

Your first conversation is all about understanding what your child needs. We’ll introduce CGA, then talk through their goals and the path they’d like to take. To help us get a clear picture of where they are now, please bring their most recent school report. We may also ask your child to complete a short online diagnostic test beforehand.

Step 2

Entrance Assessment

Your child will sit an assessment (English, Maths, and Science). It helps us confirm that CGA is the right fit and find the courses that suit them best. The assessment is fully online and takes around two hours.

Step 3

Submit Enrolment Documents

Once your child has passed the assessment, the Principal will approve their admission. At this stage, we’ll confirm their courses and ask you to submit the required documents, all online.

Step 4

Confirmation of Enrolment

Once we’ve received your documents, we’ll issue a formal letter of acceptance. Barring rare exceptions, such as a delay with a visa, your child’s place is now confirmed.

Step 5

Orientation

Your child will receive a CGA Welcome Pack and set up everything they need for learning online. A student buddy will be on hand to help them settle in and answer any questions.

Step 6

First Day of Class

Classes begin, and your child starts learning alongside their classmates. Our main intakes are in September and February, so most students start at one of these points. If your child is joining outside these intakes, they’ll follow a tailored timeline, so please get in touch with us to find out more.
