Beyond The Classroom
Tailored to meet your child's needs, iPrimary offers students the opportunity to cover the full curriculum of a subject of their choice with an experienced teacher, at a pace that suits their needs.
iPrimary is an international curriculum for primary school students in preparation to study Pre-IG, International GCSE and A-Levels. It is also for students who want to:
Choose from foundational subjects that form an inclusive curriculum, shaping a promising future for your child.
The Pearson Edexcel iPrimary English curriculum is designed specifically for non-native speakers of English who are studying the majority of their curriculum subjects in English.
With a strong emphasis on developing scientific enquiry skills and content designed to support enquiry-based learning, the curriculum is based on the latest version of the English National Curriculum (2014), but with the international student in mind.
Providing a strong foundation in mathematics, the curriculum introduces and reinforces concepts that lay the groundwork for lower secondary education and on to International GCSE Mathematics and beyond.
Pearson Edexcel iPrimary Computing will equip students to understand and apply the fundamental principles and concepts of computer science and information technology and be responsible, confident and creative users of information and communication technology.
This course is designed to fuel discussion, inspire collaboration and develop students' ability to think critically about a wide range of global issues.
Students studying iPrimary typically take 2-3 courses. It is divided into two parts, stage one and stage two, and each part will be 40 hours per subject, for a total of 80 hours. With 80 hours per subject, your child can complete a curriculum equivalent to four years of study.
