How Flexible is CGA? Real Student Schedules and Daily Routines

Crimson Global Academy (CGA) is not just an online school; it’s a personalised academic experience designed to fit your lifestyle. CGA offers one of the most flexible online school models available today, allowing students to learn live, one-on-one, or at their own pace, anywhere in the world.

Whether you’re a competitive athlete, a travelling family, a musician, or a student balancing multiple passions, CGA offers the flexibility, structure, and global curriculum to help you thrive without sacrificing academic rigour. But how flexible is CGA really? Let’s take a closer look at the daily routines of real students.

What Makes CGA So Flexible?

CGA’s flexibility is multi-dimensional:

  • When you learn: Anytime, with live or recorded lessons.
  • Where you learn: From any location globally.
  • How you learn: Group classes, 1:1 instruction, or self-paced study.
  • How much you learn: Full-time or part-time enrolment.

We also offer rolling admissions and mid-year transfers, so you can start your journey when it suits you best.

Live Online Classes with Global Timetables

Students at CGA attend real-time classes taught by world-class teachers. With multiple time zones catered for, students can join classes that best fit their daily routines, whether they’re early risers, evening learners, or somewhere in between.

Three Learning Modes:

  • Live Group Classes: Join peers around the world in structured, interactive sessions.
  • CGA Da Vinci (1:1 Instruction): Personalised learning in a distraction-free setting.
  • CGA Flex (Self-paced Learning): Learn through recorded classes at your own pace, with teacher check-ins.

Full-Time or Part-Time Enrolment

You choose your pace. Take 1–2 subjects part-time or study a full curriculum for up to 5 hours a day. This flexibility is ideal for:

Real Student Routines: How CGA Fits Different Lifestyles

Chloe – World Traveller

Chloe’s family is on a mission to visit every country in the world — a dream that might sound impossible in traditional education. But with CGA, she logs into classes from buses, trains, and cafés across the globe. She reflects, "Whether on a bus or train, I can log into class from anywhere." For Chloe, school travels with her, and the world is her classroom.

Emma – Academic Achiever

Living in Invercargill, New Zealand, Emma starts her academic day at 9AM and wraps up by 2PM, giving her afternoons to explore dance, local events, and community work. "No traditional school could offer this kind of freedom," she says. CGA gives her time to grow beyond the books.

Takuto – Competitive Athlete

Training is serious business for Takuto, based in Spain. His former school only allowed afternoon training, clashing with his peak performance times. At CGA, his mornings are now dedicated to training, and learning happens around his athletic priorities - not the other way around.

Bella – Professional Gymnast

With training and competitions taking her from city to city in Australia, Bella needs a school that moves with her. CGA does just that, helping her stay on track with her academics no matter where gymnastics takes her.

Goda – Professional Gymnast

Before joining CGA, U.S. student Goda faced a common issue: if she missed a class, she missed the lesson. "Now, I just watch the recording and email my teacher," she shares. The CGA model puts learning in her control.

Flexible Education, Without Compromise

CGA provides:

Whether full-time or part-time, students receive an official CGA transcript and access to CGA’s social events, leadership positions, and global peer network.

Why Flexibility Matters

In a traditional school, flexibility often means lower academic standards. At CGA, flexibility enhances student success. Our modular structure, world-class educators, and ability-based classes ensure students are supported and challenged.

Can students join CGA mid-year?
Yes! CGA accepts rolling admissions throughout the year. This is possible thanks to our multiple school calendars, each with its own term dates, and the variety of educational pathways we offer.

How do time zones work for live classes?
Each campus has its timetable and processes:

  • The Aoraki calendar suits Southern Hemisphere students, with four terms starting in February.
  • The Greenwich and US calendars suit Northern Hemisphere students, with three terms from September to May.

What happens if a student misses a class?
All students must attend classes. However, if this is not possible for an acceptable and valid reason, all lessons are recorded so students can access missed content. The parent or caregiver should email the subject teacher directly to request access to the recordings.
