This August, while our Greenwich and US campuses enjoy a well-deserved summer break, Aoraki students, particularly in the ANZ region, are staying vibrant with a blend of virtual and on-site activities that brighten their winter days.
At Crimson Global Academy (CGA), we believe in the power of connection beyond the screen. That’s why we’re committed to offering a dynamic mix of online and in-person experiences, ensuring our students and families stay engaged and remain active members of this thriving community.
Targeted at students residing in the ANZ region, this informative session features CGA Psychology Teachers Ms. Di Austin and Ms. Barbara Jeffcott, along with CGA VP for Marketing and Community Jessica Silcock. They explored effective strategies for maintaining well-being during the winter months. The webinar offered practical tips for overcoming the winter blues and optimising health and productivity throughout the season.
Thriving Thursday webinars are hosted to foster dialogue around well-being and personal development. These webinars cover various topics designed to support and assist our students, wherever they are.
CGA students residing near Melbourne participated in the University of Melbourne’s second annual Collaborate to Innovate Expo at the Science Gallery Melbourne on August 15. The students explored a variety of interactive installations and exhibits that showcased science in a hands-on and visually stimulating way.
After the expo, students and their families enjoyed dinner with members of the CGA Academic and Marketing team.
CGA has recently launched the CGA Student Podcast, a private channel showcasing stories and experiences from across our community, designed to guide students and families through their CGA journey.
Our debut episodes cover a fascinating array of topics and feature diverse guests. Topics include performing arts, building online friendships, effective academic strategies, student leadership, and the balance between athletics and academics.
This podcast is more than just a series of episodes—it’s a gateway to building relationships, gaining valuable insights, and celebrating the unique experiences within our CGA community.
Each campus hosts a monthly online session for parents, where school leaders share updates, announcements, and address questions. These meetings also offer a platform for parents to provide feedback and engage directly with our leaders.
As we welcome new members from our Greenwich and US campuses, we encourage parents to join our "Parents of CGA" Facebook Group. This online community is designed for current and new CGA parents to connect, share insights, and interact with one another. You can find the group by searching for "Parents of CGA" on Facebook.
